In Blekinge's Sölvesborg, Sweden Rock has been going on since Wednesday. Now the last evening of the festival is ending with Falun's pride Sabaton, who plays on the main stage and offers powerful pyrotechnics.
Earlier on Saturday, among others, Blind Guardian, Turbonegro, Crucified Barbara and Joddla med Siv also played. During the other days, bands like Opeth, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter and Meshuggah have taken the stages.
This year's festival has been marked by a wave of mobile phone thefts. A total of around 70 mobile phones have been stolen from pockets and bags in the audience in front of the largest stages. The police suspect that it is a theft gang, press spokesperson Thomas Johansson previously said to TT.
What makes us believe that the thefts are organized is the scope of them. As far as I know, this is the first time it happens at Sweden Rock, maybe even in all of Sweden.
On Friday, two cases of aerial intoxication were also reported at the festival when drones were flown over the area, where there is a flight ban.
A few cases of assault and sexual harassment have also been reported.
But considering that there are over 60,000 visitors, it's a very calm festival, said Thomas Johansson.
