Tennis world number one Aryna Sabalenka withstood the pressure and won over Canadian Leylah Fernandez in the third round of the US Open.
The match, which lasted around one hour and forty minutes, ended 6–3, 7–6 (7–2) in favor of the Belarusian. Four years ago, the two players met in the semifinal of the US Open, and then it was Fernandez who drew the longest straw.
I really wanted to get this revenge, says Sabalenka after the match.
