World number one Aryna Sabalenka has not faced any major obstacles at the US Open so far. In the second round, the Belarusian easily defeated Russian Polina Iatcenko in straight sets, 6–1, 6–1.
The tennis star entered the tournament as defending champion but has had a tough year behind her, including when she was recently knocked out in the fourth round of the WTA tournament in Cincinnati.
In the third round of the US Open, she will face Kamilla Rakhimova from Uzbekistan.
