Moving into what will be one of Saab's largest production facilities - next to what is popularly known as Göteborgsbacken - is planned for 2030.
Saab has been producing advanced avionics and military training and simulation equipment in Huskvarna, another part of Jönköping, for some time. The group has had operations there in the Stenholm factories since the late 1970s.
Currently, 1,200 people work for Saab in Jönköping.
