In addition to Ericsson, Saab has also signed a memorandum of understanding with SSC Space and OHB Sweden.
"Space is becoming increasingly important as a strategic, operational and tactical domain within defense and security," Saab writes in a press release.
Saab, together with Ericsson, will look at ground-based and space-based communication solutions and how this can strengthen defence in the long term.
