The cooperation will revolve around aviation and airborne surveillance, and the purpose of the agreement is to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, Saab announced in a press release.
The Ukrainian company supplies defense equipment and hardware and is an important part of the country's defense sector. The company brings together a number of players, both state-owned and private industrial companies.
The agreement was signed on Friday at the Munich Security Conference.
“We look forward to collaborating with JSC UDI and jointly exploring opportunities related to Ukraine,” said Anders Carp, Vice President of Saab.
