The Swedish Armed Forces are ordering several radar systems from the defense company Saab. The radar systems, which are of the model Giraffe 4A, will be delivered during 2026 and 2027. The order is worth approximately 1.4 billion kronor, Saab writes in a press release.
"We are proud to continue supporting Swedish defense with an important piece of the puzzle in the new sensor system program and thus the national defense", says Carl-Johan Bergholm, head of Saab's business area Surveillance according to a press release.
