The defense company Saab has received an order from the Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) for the mobile short-range air defense system RBS 70 NG and missiles, the company writes in a press release.
The order is worth 1.5 billion kronor and delivery will take place in 2027-2028. The order was booked in the second quarter of 2025.
"We continuously contribute to strengthening the Swedish defense capability where Saab's air defense systems have a significant role in keeping the airspace safe", says Görgen Johansson, head of Saab's business area Dynamics, according to the press release.
