The defence company Saab has received an order for the sighting and fire control system Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS) for combat vehicle 90 from BAE Systems Hägglunds.
The system is used to counter threats both on the ground and from the air.
Saab writes in a press release that the order is worth approximately 880 million kronor and was booked in the first quarter.
Together with partners, Saab has established new production lines of UTAAS in Europe to meet an increasing demand.
At the same time, Saab announces in a press release that it has received an order for a digital air traffic control tower with the company's latest air traffic control system to Vilnius Airport in Lithuania. The value of the order is not disclosed.
