The defense group Saab has received an order from BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik for the UTAAS (Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System) sighting and fire control system for Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90).
The order is worth approximately SEK 314 million. Deliveries will take place in 2029-2030, Saab writes in a press release.
"The increasing demand for the CV90 demonstrates its effectiveness and reliability on the battlefield. Our collaboration with BAE Systems Hägglunds goes back a long way and we have for some time increased our production capacity for UTAAS to meet global demand," says Carl-Johan Bergholm, head of Saab's Surveillance business area, according to the press release.
