Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV, to support future development of the Gripen system, the defense group writes in a press release.
The order value is approximately SEK 2.5 billion and concerns operations during 2026–2028. The order includes operation and support of test aircraft and advanced tools, such as simulators.
"The activities conducted within the framework of the contract maintain certain infrastructure and are fundamental to the continued production and development of the entire combat aircraft system," FMV writes in its own press release.
