The defense group Saab has entered into a collaboration with the American company General Atomics Aeronautical Systems to develop unmanned aerial surveillance, the company announces in a press release.

Saab's sensors for aerial surveillance will be integrated with the American company's MQ-9B drones.

"The collaboration lays the foundation for us to be able to offer a complement to our reconnaissance and command aircraft with an innovative unmanned aerial surveillance capability", says Carl-Johan Bergholm, head of Saab's Surveillance business area, in the press release.
