Saab wants to sell GlobalEye combat command-and-control and reconnaissance aircraft to Canada. The signed agreement is linked to the possibility of selling the system to Canada, "but will also support existing and future international GlobalEye operators," Saab writes in a press release.

Cohere is a leading AI company serving companies with a security focus, according to Saab.

Saab CEO Micael Johansson is currently in Canada to try to sell Gripen fighter jets to the country, Affärsvärlden writes.

Previously, Canada had chosen the US F-35, but since relations with the US have deteriorated, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has ordered a review of the plans.
