The suspected crime is said to have occurred during the night of Sunday. When the incident became known, police were alerted and an employee was later arrested.
"It is a very serious incident that is now being investigated. We have also involved the chief physician to determine what measures should be taken from a patient safety perspective," says Urban Funck, the hospital's HR director, in a press release.
The prosecutor's office confirms that a preliminary investigation is underway.
"We are investigating the incident but are currently unable to provide any further information. The case is at an early stage and is very sensitive," says senior prosecutor Frida Noldin in a press release.
