Low-cost airline Ryanair expects higher passenger growth in 2026, it writes in its interim report.

This morning, the airline reported a second-quarter profit of 1.72 billion euros. This was slightly above analysts' expectations of 1.67 billion euros, according to a Bloomberg report.

For 2026, the forecast is raised to 207 million passengers for the full year, compared to the previous forecast of 206 million. Strong demand for travel and progress in the delivery of new Boeing aircraft are cited as reasons for the increased forecast.
