Employees at the airline Ryainair will now get paid more to catch passengers who fly with too large hand luggage. This announces the company's CEO, reports BBC.

The compensation is increased from the current 1.5 pounds, equivalent to just over 19 kronor, to 2.5 pounds, equivalent to just over 32 kronor, per bag.

The purpose is that the employees of the airline will catch more people who fly with larger cabin bags than what is allowed.

We will catch you and I look forward to rewarding and giving bonuses to our staff who catch the oversized bags, says Ryanair's CEO Michael O'Leary to BBC.

The new bonus will, according to O'Leary, come into effect in November. Passengers who fly with Ryanair are today allowed to bring a small bag on board without extra cost, but can incur expensive surcharges if the bag exceeds the permitted limit.

At the same time as the new bonus is introduced, the airline abolishes a previous ceiling of 80 euros, equivalent to approximately 890 kronor, for how much staff can earn each month by catching bag cheats.
