The low-price chain Rusta reports an operating result of 135 million kronor for the second quarter of the company's broken financial year, concluded in October. This can be compared to the profit of 139 million kronor during the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

Net sales increased to 2.7 billion kronor, from 2.6 billion a year earlier.

During the quarter, Rusta opened five new department stores and the chain is raising its expansion forecast.

"The forecast for openings is thus strengthened and we are revising our guidance from 40-60 to 50-80 new department stores over the next three years," writes Rusta in the report.
