This past week has further soured the already sour relations between Germany and Russia, and between the EU and Russia. Ambassadors have been recalled and cultural centres have been closed in Berlin and Moscow.
"This is more or less the beginning of a real war. They (Germany) expelled the Consulate General from Bonn. They are closing the Russian House (cultural centre) in Berlin," Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a reporter on state television.
They want war again, he continues.
Russia's activities at the cultural centre in Berlin have been questioned for many years.
