A war correspondent from Russian state TV has been killed by a mine near the border with Ukraine, according to her employer Pervyj Kanal.
The incident is said to have occurred on the Russian side of the border, in Belgorod.
"Pervyj Kanal's war correspondent Anna Prokofjeva died while performing her professional duties", writes the TV channel in a statement.
A cameraman is also said to have been injured by the mine.
Several Russian journalists have been killed in the Ukraine war, including on Monday when a correspondent for the Russian newspaper Izvestija was killed in the Ukrainian region of Charkiv.
