It is a shame for Europe. We must do everything we can to make the Russians feel that it is not "business as usual". They should not be allowed to import European luxury products, export fertilizer to us or come here as tourists, Malmer Stenergard says on his way to today's EU foreign ministers' meeting in Brussels.
According to the news site Euractiv, the number of tourist visas for Russians to the Schengen countries increased by just over eight percent last year. Three-quarters of the applications go to France, Italy and Spain.
It is very upsetting, and I will raise that today, Malmer Stenergard says.
