Russian attack wave over Ukraine – at least 15 dead

At least 15 civilians have been killed and 20 injured in Russian attacks in the past 24 hours, according to Ukrainian reports. In the Russian port city of Tuapse in Krasnodar, an oil tanker and a cargo pier have been hit in a Ukrainian attack, Russia says.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia sent two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 79 attack drones towards Ukraine overnight. 67 of the drones were reportedly shot down by Ukrainian air defenses, while the rest reached their targets.

"Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa regions. Six people were killed, including two children," Ukraine's prosecutor general wrote on Telegram, AFP reports.

Five deaths are reported from the Donetsk region, and deaths are also reported from Odessa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Sumy, The Kyiv Independent reports.

One person was also reported to have been killed in the Zaporizhia region, where nearly 60,000 residents were left without power overnight Sunday, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov.

A major fire has broken out in Russia after a Ukrainian attack on the port city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar region on the Black Sea. There are no initial reports of casualties, reports The Kyiv Independent .

According to local representatives, a drone attack has caused damage to the port infrastructure in the city, which is an important hub for Russian oil exports.

The data has not been initially verified by independent parties.

Explosions have also been reported from the Russian city of Oryol, the newspaper reports.
