On June 12, production was halted at one of the company's major oil refineries in the Russian city of Nizhnekamsk after a Ukrainian drone attack, reported The Moscow Times.
A Tatneft representative confirmed that the company had imposed limits of 30 liters of gasoline and 60 liters of diesel per customer. No official explanation was given.
Tatneft has around 800 gas stations in Russia.
Russia's Energy Ministry acknowledged last week that Russian energy companies were experiencing "temporary difficulties with fuel deliveries" in Russia's southern regions due to "increased hostile air strikes."
Russia has previously imposed a temporary ban on all gasoline exports.
