Russian FSB detains boy after US warns of attack threat at Moscow park

Russia's security service has detained a minor after the United States warned of a deadly attack in Moscow.

The US embassy in Russia published a warning on its website on Saturday about a “credible threat” to Tsaritsyno, an open-air museum and park in southern Moscow.

On Sunday, Russia’s intelligence service, the FSB, announced that a boy had been detained, domestic media reported, citing a statement.

According to the FSB, the boy had posted a video on TikTok in which he posed wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a cap and holding what appeared to be an automatic weapon. He had also posted pictures of the Tsaritsyno area with the caption “I have found a place”. He is also said to have followed a “neo-Nazi” account on Telegram.

“We are grateful that the American side provided its information,” the FSB statement continued.
