Three people were injured in the attack during the night towards Friday, according to authorities in Odessa, who also confirmed that the attack caused large fires.
The governor of the Odessa region, Oleh Kiper, said that "local power outages" affected at least three districts and that the energy supply to Odessa may be affected as a result.
After the Russian attack, President Volodymyr Zelenskyj said that "the collective pressure on Russia, strengthened sanctions and increased defense support" to Ukraine is the only way to prevent "such terrorist attacks and Russian prolongation of the war".
