Crowded in the stands, tight and tough down on the ice. As is usually the case on a Monday derby in Hälsingland. On Swedish bandy's most tradition-laden day, a Russian stood out. Denis Sadakov's early hat trick showed Bollnäs the way to an 8–5 away victory against Edsbyn.

Sadakov, 32, recently extended his contract with Bollnäs for next season. The club will be happy about that. The skilled two-way player also has a fearsome shot, something he timely brought out in the derby.

Sadakov scored a hat-trick within the first 47 minutes. Two of the goals were solid hits, especially the first.

I just shot. There weren't many options, so I decided to shoot, he tells Bandypuls.

When Sadakov scored 3–2 for Bollnäs right after the break, it was the beginning of the end for the home team. Erik Pettersson and Rasmus Skarps increased the lead to 5–2 before the hour was up.

And before it was over, Denis Sadakov scored his fourth goal.

Damn it. We won't get it in the second half, says Edsbyn veteran Per Hellmyrs to Bandypuls.

Edsbyn and Bollnäs are among the constants in the top league, with 68 and 61 seasons there. In terms of merit, Edsbyn is in a class of its own with 13 Swedish Championship gold medals to Bollnäs' two, but now and then it is Bollnäs that reigns supreme in Hälsingland.

The club is still at the top.

As the table looks right now, Frillesås and Boltic are fighting to avoid last place, the one that means playing in the Allsvenskan next season.

After today's meeting, it's a good continuation, Boltic. The once powerful bandy club managed to turn 0–2 to 4–2 and won 6–3. With the victory, both clubs are on six points.
