The Russian dancer and choreographer Jurij Grigorovitj is dead.
Grigorovitj was affiliated with the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, where he was chief choreographer and artistic director for over three decades. He choreographed a long row of ballets, such as "The Stone Flower", "Spartacus", "Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcracker" and "The Legend of Love".
Jurij Grigorovitj was 98 years old.
