Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, is experiencing a continued escalation of Russian attacks. At least three so-called precision-guided bombs hit targets in the city, according to a statement posted on Telegram by Governor Oleg Synegubov on Monday. One of the bombs hit a high-rise apartment building, while a second hit an industrial area.
Witnesses reported a fire in a high-rise building and said the roof had collapsed.
"About 30 people were injured and are in hospital, the condition of three of them is critical," Synegubov writes.
On Sunday, Russian drones attacked residential areas in Kharkiv. Five deaths and nearly 50 injuries were reported in the Kharkiv region.
