The Russian ban on gasoline exports is extended until February next year.

The ban on the export of gasoline from Russia, which was introduced in August, applies to all exporters, including producers, writes the Bloomberg news agency, referring to a government decree on Saturday.

The export ban also covers diesel, marine oil and other gasoline oils.

Russia imposed the ban last summer after Ukraine stepped up attacks on Russian oil refineries and ports from the Black Sea to the Baltic coast, leading to price increases and gasoline shortages in several Russian regions.
