A Russian opposition activist cut her wrist in a courtroom in the Siberian city of Krasnojarsk on Tuesday, according to a Russian women's rights organization.
In a post on the messaging service Telegram, the organization uploaded a video clip where she holds up her bleeding left arm.
This is my verdict, I have the law on my side, I protest against this verdict, says Olga Suvorova in the clip.
She was then taken to the hospital.
Russia has further intensified its efforts against dissidents and opposition movements since the country launched its large-scale offensive in Ukraine in 2022.
Suvorova was found guilty by the court of charges of filing a false complaint against a police officer, and was fined 125,000 rubles, approximately 13,000 kronor.
