It was on Friday that Ukraine's president met with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, which escalated into a heated verbal exchange.
The Foreign Ministry continues to accuse Zelenskyj of being "obsessed" with prolonging the war. At the same time, the department states that Russia's goal with the war remains unchanged.
It has been over three years since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
"Russia's unchanged goal remains the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, as well as recognition of the reality on the ground," says Maria Zacharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson, in the statement.
