At least three people were killed in a Ukrainian robot attack on Crimea, according to the Russian authorities on the annexed peninsula.

According to Russia, American weapons were used, which makes the country view the USA as responsible for the attack.

The Russian air defence on Crimea was activated on Sunday morning, alerted Sevastopol's governor Michail Razvozjajev via social media.

Three people, including a young child, are reported to have been killed, and over a hundred injured, he claims.

The Russian Defence Ministry stated in a statement on Telegram that it views the USA as responsible for the attack, which according to Russia was carried out using American Atacms rockets.

More than 30 drones were sent in an attack on several of Russia's border regions with Ukraine, according to Russia's military. According to Russian reports, all drones were shot down.

Ukraine's military, however, published images allegedly showing how large parts of a facility outside Russian Krasnodar were levelled to the ground. The buildings there were allegedly used to store and prepare attack drones.

The attacks that Russia reports are said to have been targeted at the regions of Bryansk, Smolensk, Lipetsk, and Tula. The Russian military rarely reports on military setbacks.

Ukraine has regularly attacked targets in Russia with projectiles, but has recently been given the green light to use also the weapons donated by its allies against targets on the other side of the border, albeit with many reservations.
