Around 7,800 types of equipment and weapons will be used during the exercise, which include aircraft, ships, conventional submarines and nuclear-powered submarines.
Ballistic and cruise missiles will be tested, according to the data.
“From May 19 to 21, 2026, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will conduct an exercise in the preparation and use of nuclear weapons in the event of a threat of aggression,” the Defense Ministry stated.
The announcement comes as Ukraine has escalated drone attacks against Russia.
