Three people have been killed and three others have been seriously injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian-occupied city of Olesjky, according to the governor of the Cherson region, Vladimir Saldo, who was appointed by Russia.
He calls it an "inhuman kamikaze drone attack". Images he shares show what is said to be dead people covered with blankets on a street and outside a building.
Saldo accuses Ukraine of having directed the attack "solely against the civilian population" and claims that it was aimed at a place where aid is being distributed.
Ukraine has not commented on the reports but has denied targeting civilians in Russian-occupied areas.
The city of Olesjky had around 20,000 inhabitants before Russia launched its large-scale attack on Ukraine in February last year.
