Russia says it attacked Ukrainian steel plants that manufacture products for military use in Zaporizhia, Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Telegram.
Two people were killed in Zaporizhia, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov. One person was also killed in Kryvyi Rih, according to local officials, the AP reports.
According to Russian reports, port infrastructure was also attacked in Odesa.
An apartment building was damaged in Odesa, regional military administration chief Serhiy Lysak wrote on Telegram. Governor Oleh Kiper said 28 people were injured in what he called a “massive attack.”
