Russian forces have neutralized 113 Ukrainian drones overnight, Russian authorities claim, according to AFP. The drones are said to have caused a fire at an oil refinery about 500 kilometers from Moscow.

The attack on the refinery in Velikiye Luki did not cause any injuries, according to the governor of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov.

Ukraine, which is the target of Russian bombings on an almost daily basis, has carried out recurring retaliatory attacks against Russian oil refineries, ports and energy infrastructure.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force says it repelled 29 of 37 Russian drones overnight, according to the EFE news agency.

The attacks come the day after Russian and Ukrainian delegations, with the United States as mediator, concluded two days of peace talks in Geneva, Switzerland.
