At the same time, 620 Ukrainian drones have been sent towards the Russian capital, Moscow, claims Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The Russian rocket and drone attacks targeted, among other things, homes, a gas station, a warehouse, a cafe, a post office, a shop and at least seven cars, writes Governor Oleh Synehubov on Telegram.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on social media that an attack had targeted a busy intersection - “a place with post offices and shops, surrounded only by residential buildings.” Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine would “definitely” respond to the attack.

Orders evacuation

In addition to the ten dead, at least eight people were injured.

Authorities are ordering evacuations from 16 towns in the Dnipropetrovsk region on Tuesday, due to intensified Russian attacks and the advance of Russian troops.

“Within a month, families with children must leave these areas,” the head of the regional military administration writes on social media.

On the Russian side, Ukrainian drone attacks were carried out in waves during the night and morning, according to the Kyiv Independent. Several people are said to have been injured and buildings are said to have been hit, AFP reports.

E-commerce giant hit

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed in a series of posts on Telegram that at least 180 drones had been shot down by Russian air defenses in the metropolitan area. However, it is unclear how many of the more than 600 drones reached their targets.

A warehouse belonging to Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries was also hit by a drone overnight, according to a statement from the company. Damage to the building is described as minor.

Ukraine has recently repeatedly sent large numbers of drones against targets in Russia. Among other things, warehouses belonging to Wildberries have been attacked several times.

At the same time, Russia has intensified its missile and drone attacks on cities in Ukraine.
