The Russian Defence Ministry says it has attacked Ukrainian facilities in the military-industrial and energy sectors.
Ukraine's maritime authority says on Telegram that at least one person has died in a Russian attack on a cargo ship in the Black Sea overnight Wednesday.
A fire broke out after the attack and the crew was reportedly evacuated by the Ukrainian navy. According to the authority, it was the ship's captain who was killed.
Odesa region governor Oleh Kiper confirmed the attack to AFP, saying it took place in the port of Odesa. The dead captain was Ukrainian, according to Kiper.
