- The Russians have increased production of Geran-2, says spokesperson Andrii Yusov in an interview quoted by the news agency Ansa.
Geran-2 is a licensed manufactured variant of the notorious Iranian drone Shahed.
- With some modifications, they can now build 2,700 per month.
Yusov adds that the Russians are also building a lot of decoy drones, which are sent to confuse Ukraine's defense.
The escalation is evident in increasingly intense attacks. In July, the Russian military set a new record, with 6,200 drones and other projectiles against Ukraine, reports the news service Ukrinform.
