Ukraine's military has recently managed to retake almost the entire southeastern industrial region of Dnipropetrovsk during a counteroffensive, Major General Oleksandr Komarenko said in an interview with Ukrainian RBC, adding that the military has pushed Russian forces back by more than 400 square kilometers.
However, Russia's almost-daily attacks on civilian areas continue. In the eastern city of Slovyansk, four people are reported to have been killed by Russian glide bombs.
At the same time, Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov claims that the Russian military is "advancing quite successfully," and, according to Ushakov, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Trump about this late Monday.
