The President of the USA wrote that the working group he appointed to investigate the role of cryptocurrencies in the currency reserve is making progress. Then Trump mentioned three smaller cryptocurrencies: XRP, Solana, and Cardano – all of which soared.
First, in a subsequent writing, he brought up the larger cryptocurrencies Ether and Bitcoin as interesting for the national currency reserve.
At 9 pm on Sunday evening, Ether was at $2,500, an increase of over 12 percent during the day. Bitcoin was then at over $93,000, an increase from Friday, when it was traded under $80,000.
Trump has previously mentioned cryptocurrencies in positive terms several times. But several cryptocurrencies have seen their prices fall recently due to uncertainty about their value in a volatile world.
