Since the US and Israel began their war against Iran on February 28, there have been many announcements from Washington regarding both the goals of the war and how long it is expected to continue.
When asked by the press after Friday's G7 meeting outside Paris, Rubio replied that the United States has clear goals and that "we are confident that we are on the path to achieving them very soon," the BBC reports.
Regarding the timeframe, Rubio said the efforts are expected to be completed soon.
"We're talking weeks, not months," Rubio says.
