Marco Rubio, senator from Florida, becomes the USA's new foreign minister. He is the first of the persons whom President Donald Trump has nominated to receive approval from the senate.
The senate, including over 40 Democrats who sit there, voted unanimously to give Rubio the green light.
Rubio is one of the least controversial names that Trump has nominated. How it goes for the more controversial and debated Pete Hegseth, whom Trump wants to see as defense minister, is expected to become clear during the week.
