The RSF (Rapid Support Forces) continues its attempts to take control of areas in Sudan controlled by the army, its opponent in the civil war.
At least 13 people were killed in the drone attack in the town of Umm Rawaba, a representative of a local hospital said. Another 20 people were injured in the drone strike.
"I was standing near the courthouse when I saw a drone fly into a tree outside the building," said a witness, who said a large number of people were waiting at the agency.
The civil war between the RSF and the army has claimed over 200,000 lives since it broke out in the spring of 2023.
