Rosenqvist has several top results behind him this past season. Victory in the classic Indy 500 and second in the Long Beach Grand Prix.
Last night came the next podium finish.
Rosenqvist started from pole position and alternately held the lead for a total of 33 laps, but ultimately lost it to Spaniard Álex Palou.
"I had a little bit of trouble at the start (out of the pits). That was basically what decided the matter. He managed to get ahead of us," Rosenqvist said of Palou to Indycar.com.
Marcus Ericsson finished sixth.
