Rosengård lost Saturday's match against Djurgården with 1–2. The reigning Swedish champion has now eight straight losses in damallsvenskan.

Last season, Rosengård lost only one match in the league during the entire season. Now the team is on a qualifying spot with 18 points after 22 played matches.

Rosengård was better in terms of play in the first half and Emilia Larsson had finishes in both the crossbar and the post.

It looks much better than it has in the previous matches. I must stop shooting terribly badly, said Larsson to Viaplay at halftime.

Despite this, Djurgården took the lead directly in the second half when Olivia Ulenius' intended cross bounced off the post into the goal.

It was Ulenius who also scored the second goal of the match when she shot from outside the penalty area with a well-placed shot that Sam Murphy in the Rosengård goal could not reach.

The team from Skåne was awarded a penalty in the final minutes which Emma Jansson scored, but that was all.

Rosengård has now eleven consecutive matches without a win, of which nine are losses, in the women's top division.

Djurgården is in fourth place in the table.
