Rosengård can focus entirely on the relegation battle in Damallsvenskan.

2–2 in the return home against Sporting Lissabon was not enough for advancement to the round of 16 in the new Europa Cup. Rosengård was eliminated from the second qualifying round with 2–5 overall.

Rosengård is already focused on prioritizing the bottom battle in Damallsvenskan and coach Martin Qvarmans Möller had made seven changes in the starting eleven compared to the team that started in the latest Damallsvenskan meeting with Djurgården.

When Claudia Neto also gave Sporting the lead in the 29th minute, the chance of a comeback was almost gone after the 0–3 loss in the away match.

Sporting led with both 1–0 and 2–1 but Maja Johansson and 17-year-old Filippa Sjöström equalized each time.

Perhaps a light in the darkness for last year's Swedish championship team, which has eight straight losses in Damallsvenskan and is in a qualifying spot, two points from solid ground and three points down to the relegation line with four rounds left.

Häcken and Hammarby, who both took big wins in the first match, play their return matches in the Europa Cup on Thursday.
