After yesterday's win against top contender Häcken, Rosengård's chairman Håkan Wifvesson announced that threats have been made against a player on the team.
It's bloody ridiculous that in 2024 you should have to be exposed to a situation like this, said Wifvesson to TT after the match.
The club has also decided to close its training sessions to the public.
"As you have been able to follow in the media, we have once again had to increase security for our players. We will therefore be training behind closed doors. We ask for your understanding and support in this", the club writes on its Instagram.
This is the second time this season that a Rosengård player has been threatened. In May, a player received death threats on YouTube.
The threat this time is said to have been made via email, and was sent both the day before the match against Häcken and also on match day.
