Rosa Kafaji will miss the decisive Nations League matches against Italy and Denmark. The 21-year-old is injured and also missed Saturday's Champions League final where her Arsenal defeated Barcelona.
"After dialogue with the medical team at Arsenal, it has been confirmed that Rosa unfortunately cannot participate in the upcoming gathering due to an injury," says national team doctor Houman Ebrahimi in a statement.
Kafaji is replaced by another of Arsenal's Swedes, Lina Hurtig.
Sweden meets Italy away on Friday and concludes the Nations League group play at home against Denmark on Tuesday.
