Spanish newspaper Sport previously reported that the injury occurred during training on Monday, with the 20-year-old reportedly having to stop because of pain.
This is not the first time Bardghji has suffered a serious knee injury. He sustained a similar injury in April 2024 and was out for almost a year.
The Swede made 28 appearances in total for Barcelona last season, scoring two goals. During the summer, several media outlets reported that the striker was on his way out of the club - either on loan or in a permanent transfer.
Bardghji broke through at FC Copenhagen, but was ready to join the Catalan giants in July 2025.
He has made three senior appearances for Sweden, but was not selected for this summer's World Cup squad.
