The London club Crystal Palace won the FA Cup after a final victory with 1–0 against giant Manchester City.
Eze scored the match's only goal after a quarter of an hour and in the 36th minute, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson saved a penalty.
Henderson should never have got the opportunity, according to the former attacking stars Wayne Rooney and Ian Wright. They believe that the goalkeeper should have been sent off in the 23rd minute for taking the ball with his hand outside the penalty area.
Abolish VAR. It's a red card and it's a red card, says the former Manchester United star Rooney in BBC's broadcast.
Manchester City forward Erling Braut Haaland was extremely close to poking the ball past Henderson when making his intervention.
How is this not a sending-off? It's pathetic. It's crazy. He's on his way to poking the ball past him and putting the ball in the goal, says the former Arsenal star Ian Wright, who has also played for Crystal Palace, in BBC.
The referee Stuart Attwell did not blow for the situation and was not asked to look at any replays either.
